History
Our Club was founded by a group of local fishing enthusiasts in Inverloch. Their photo takes pride of place in our hall of fame.
Through their efforts our Club was fortunate to have been able to source a building and obtain approval to have the building relocated to 88 The Esplanade on the beautiful shores of Anderson Inlet in 1962.
Prior to its relocation the building served as a photo lab for the military and then as a ward for the Monash Hospital at Clayton.
It has been the Anderson Inlet Angling Club house ever since its relocation.
Our Club owns the building, leases the land and pays rates to the Bass Coast Shire Council. Our Club is totally responsible for the operating cost, maintenance of the building and grounds.
Our members past and present have taken pride in and treasured these facilities. We have a track record of fund raising, investing in and maintaining these facilities so they can be preserved and enjoyed for many years to come.
We hire our hall to a number of other community interest groups and clubs. It is also available for limited number of types of casual bookings.
