Competitions

Our club is proud to host a full calendar of monthly and annual fishing competitions, bringing together anglers of all ages to share in the fun.

Competitions are run across three different age groups:

  • Seniors

  • Juniors

  • Minnows

Each month, typically the 3rd weekend, members head out onto the water on the designated Friday, Saturday and Sunday in search of their best catch. Monthly competition prizes are presented during our relaxed Weigh-In & BBQ on the Sunday night.

Fish from the monthly competition are also automatically included in the annual Heaviest Fish Competition for each of eight specific fish types.

An additional 365 Day Competition was introduced to encourage catch and release fishing. Members photograph one of the eight specific fish types on an official club “brag” mat and email the photo to the club weigh master for inclusion in the 365 Day Competition.

The fishing year culminates with our Awards Night, where efforts across the entire season are recognised. The winners are revealed at the BBQ on the 3rd Sunday in April. This special evening brings the whole club together to honour exceptional achievements.
